Congratulations to Dagmar Cyrulla for her semi-nude self portrait, I Am Woman, which was Highly Commended by the judging panel in this year’s prestigious Doug Moran National Portrait Prize. The Doug Moran National Portrait Prize is Australia’s richest art prize, with prize money of $180,000 including a $150,000 first prize. Works exhibited in the prize capture Australians from all walks of life, whether a public figure or someone from their own circle of experience.
