The stunning collage, “Venus of Beeness”, by acclaimed Sydney artist, Deborah Kelly, graces the cover of this week’s special Mardi Gras edition of Spectrum. Kelly’s collages of trans-species beings cleverly explore notions of gender, identity and conjure elaborate invitations to contemplation, to dreaming, to power and to possibility.
