We are excited to announce that Nigel Sense’s first institutional solo exhibition, titled ‘Visitor Centre’, opens at the Northern Centre for Contemporary Art (NCCA) in Darwin this week. In addition to newly-commissioned large canvases, Sense experiments with new materials as he paints Northern Territory icons on eskies, t-shirts, plates, and a family-sized camping tent. In doing so, the artist completely transforms the NCCA into his interpretation of a Visitor Centre. Having recently moved to Darwin, the show also explores the viewpoint of a ‘new-comer’ – or of someone who has recently moved to the Territory. For full exhibition details, visit  NCCA – Visitor Centre.
